Lauren Qiu
Lauren is the Principal of Stay Legal. She is an experienced specialist immigration lawyer who provides honest advice and practical solutions. She has presented at national and regional seminars on immigration law. Lauren is currently an immigration law guest lecturer teaching aspiring immigration advisers.
Lauren is practical, effective, and dedicated. Lauren has assisted employers with practical advice, high-net-worth individuals with tailored solutions, skilled migrants and their families to gain residency, and unlawful migrants regain their lawful status. She has successfully requested character waivers, medical waivers, ministerial special directions, and appealed decisions.

Paul Milne
Paul is a Senior Solicitor at Stay Legal. He is an experienced specialist immigration lawyer who truly listens and cares for his clients. Paul provides clear and easy to understand advice.
Paul started his legal career at one of New Zealand’s top law firms and he has worked on a wide range of immigration matters both in New Zealand and in China. He was previously a university law lecturer overseas and is currently also teaching papers to future licensed immigration advisers.
Paul has assisted clients with solving a vast range of visa issues. He has worked with employers, investors, and entrepreneurs. Paul has helped many clients to become New Zealand residents. He has experience in obtaining character waivers, ministerial special directions, and has successfully appealed cases.
